You can't believe everything you read!

You know that belief that it takes 21 days to create a new habit?  Well, let me just say that it's not true. I've been working on exercising daily for 22 days now, and it is most definitely not a habit!  it still feels like an unwelcome task.  Wonder what that says about me?

  1. I think all that says about you is that you've made it 22 days and are still going strong! I've never believed in any of the habit forming statistics, because everyone is so different. The key here is that you're still trying and doing what you set out to do and you should be very proud of that!

  2. Just found your blog. I agree about the 21 days to develop a habit isn't really golden. Congrats on continuing with the new exercise time you have added in your life. If you have the balance exercises mastered yet, that would be great to see! We've been recording everything we eat in My Fitness Pal - and have set it so our steps are recorded and transferred to that program just by our phone. It has been helping us keep on track for steps and food intake. Are you using anything like that?

  3. It's not strict rule. We are all different. May be your dislike is so strong that you need more time.
