I am still using up that lilac Caron pounder. I used an H hook for all three projects. (And there is still yarn left....)
The dress pattern is here. I didn't use a pattern for the hat and booties. As usual these items will be donated.
I love this baby set. I made this same baby dress in light pink & put a crocheted white heart in the center bodice part for my youngest granddaughter (7 1/2 mos old). I did make it a little larger & longer as she is long. I love your shell hat pattern to match this dress and the booties. Do you have a pattern for the booties or can you tell me where I can find this pattern? All your crochet work is awesome (and knitting - I cannot knit, only crochet due to physical limitations with hand). Thank you for sharing these.
If you should write up the directions, I'd be interested in making these booties for my youngest granddaughter (7 1/2 mos old) and then trying to figure out how to make them larger for my other 3yr old granddaughter. I either crochet for my grandchildren 3 boys & 2 girls or other family members or gifts only. I would love to be able to have more free time to crochet baby & toddler items for charity but even if I have the time my hand doesn't allow too much crocheting at a time. Please let me know if you ever write up the booties pattern. I love all your items and am now a follower of yours.
The baby clothes are adorable, and so are you for doing this!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful set. I think I have that color too. I picked up a white 1 pounder and a purple one. It's very pretty.

ReplyDeleteI didn't use a pattern for the booties. Just improvised as I went along.
